Active Release Therapy (ART)
ART is a targeted, movement-based technique used to treat a wide range of overuse and injury-related conditions, including chronic pain, repetitive strain injuries, sports injuries, and restricted mobility. It is especially effective for issues involving the neck, back, shoulders, hips, knees, feet, and common problem areas like tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, sciatica, and IT band pain.
Unlike traditional massage, ART focuses on identifying and releasing scar tissue, adhesions, and nerve restrictions that limit movement and cause pain. It’s ideal for injuries or conditions that haven’t responded to relaxation-based treatments and is designed to restore proper function, improve range of motion, and deliver lasting results.

Massage Therapy
Our massage therapy services are designed to reduce pain, improve mobility, and support recovery through skilled, hands-on treatment. Sessions may include deep tissue, therapeutic, or integrative techniques based on your body’s needs, not a preset menu. Whether addressing chronic tension, muscle tightness, postural strain, or everyday aches, each session is adjusted in real time to provide effective, results-driven care.
At Woods Edge Therapy, we don’t up-sell add-ons or charge extra for deeper work. If your body needs more focused or firm therapy, it’s already part of your session. Additional fees apply only when advanced, certification-based techniques are required. Our goal is simple: personalized treatment that helps you move better, feel better, and return to the activities you enjoy.

Cupping Therapy
Cupping therapy is a complementary technique often integrated with massage or Active Release Therapy to reduce pain, release muscle tension, and improve tissue mobility. Using gentle suction, cupping increases blood flow and helps decompress soft tissue, making it useful for muscle tightness, overuse injuries, inflammation, and post-exercise recovery. Temporary marks are common and expected, and typically fade within a few days.
By lifting and separating layers of tissue, cupping helps address fascial restrictions that limit movement and contribute to pain. When used alongside hands-on techniques such as massage, myofascial work, or ART, cupping can enhance treatment effectiveness, improve range of motion, and support longer-lasting results.

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is a therapeutic technique focused on relieving chronic tension, reducing pain, and improving mobility. Unlike relaxation-based massage, it targets deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to address stiffness, postural strain, and long-standing discomfort. This approach supports improved flexibility, circulation, and muscle recovery, making it effective for managing musculoskeletal issues.
By addressing the underlying causes of tightness and restriction, deep tissue massage can provide lasting relief beyond short-term relaxation. It’s a practical option for improving daily movement, supporting physical performance, and restoring comfort and energy in everyday life.

Table Thai Massage is a movement-based therapy that combines assisted stretching, rhythmic compression, and gentle joint mobilization. Performed fully clothed on a massage table, it helps lengthen tight muscles, improve flexibility, and restore balance and ease of movement throughout the body.
This approach is especially beneficial for those who feel stiff, have limited range of motion, or want the benefits of guided stretching without active effort. By blending relaxation with therapeutic movement, Table Thai Massage supports improved mobility and leaves the body feeling more open, balanced, and refreshed.

Thai Mat Massage and Thai Yoga Therapy are movement-based therapies performed fully clothed on a mat, combining assisted stretching, pressure techniques, and guided movement to improve flexibility, mobility, and energy flow. Sessions are individualized based on your body’s needs and focus on releasing tension, restoring alignment, and supporting recovery.
These one-on-one sessions are especially helpful for stiffness, limited range of motion, and injury recovery. By blending traditional Thai techniques with elements of yoga and Pilates, Thai Yoga Therapy also provides practical movements you can use outside the session to support ongoing healing and improved movement.
